Local banking in Issaquah improves with Cascade Bank and Issaquah Bank merger. The merger of Issaquah Bank and Cascade Bank, another local community bank, was completed September 12, 2005. Cascade Bank was founded in Everett in 1916, and has expanded throughout Snohomish County and the East King County in recent decades. The community bank merger allowed Issaquah businesses and residents to receive more services at many more locations, including Bellevue, North Bend, Pine Lake and a second location in Issaquah. The banks—and their customers—have much in common. Both Cascade Bank and Issaquah Bank have the same dedication to personalized service and finding real solutions to your banking needs. The Issaquah community will enjoy attentive service for all their banking needs, from business and commercial loans to free checking accounts. Cascade Bank’s President and CEO Carol K. Nelson summarized the merger: “We are very excited about the combination of our two community banks as it enhances our commercial banking franchise and establishes us as the #1 independent bank in the attractive and growing Issaquah market. Issaquah customers will receive exceptional service with the added benefit of new products and services from our broader product line and higher lending limits.”
