Primarily, the winery specializes in producing their award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon along with a Merlot and Columbia Valley Red Wine. They have approached the growth of the business in much the same way as they approach wine making: slow, steady and thoughtful.

"Our philosophy can be summed up in one word," said Alex. "Quality." Quilceda Creek wines have won many awards and gained the reputation as being among the finest in the world. In 2006, Quilceda received back-to-back 100 point ratings from Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate on their 2002 and 2003 Cabernet Sauvignons. Only a handful of perfect scores have been awarded. These were the first 100’s in Washington state history. Their wine has been served to presidents and diplomats, and is now sold in 50 states and 11 foreign countries.

This approach to quality and detail makes Quilceda Creek and Cascade Bank an excellent match. Recently Cascade Bank financed the purchase of vineyard acreage for Quilceda in Eastern Washington.
